International Quilt Day...The Quilt Show!!!

I always like to pass on good information and opportunities. In honor of International Quilt Day (March 17, 2012), The Quilt Show, the web TV show hosted by Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims, will "open" all of its shows from the first nine series--that is, from show 100 through show 913---for the entire weekend of March 16-18. This means that for three special days everyone will have the chance to view these 117 shows featuring some of the quilting world's leading artists for free.

So maybe it's time to carve out a few moments from your busy schedule and indulge in at least a few shows. It's a fantastic opportunity to enjoy three days of learning and fun without leaving your home...and it's all for free!

Hugs, Cindy

I would like to thank "The Quilt Show" for offering the videos this weekend. I just watched your show and was fascinated with your use of antique linens. You have inspired me!

Ditto on what Deb said. My mom pasted in October, I have a box of linens. I opened the box today and thought about washing them. I am so glad that I haven't yet. I will buy the Restoration Soap and use on them. Thank you for all that you do:-)

Hi Ms. Cindy, I really enjoyed your show on The Quilt Show. I am interested in buying your book, Whole Cloth Linen Quilts, Patterns & Designs. Where can I purchase a copy? My grandmother and mother passed away this past year and I now have their linens. I was moved when I saw your show. I know now what I should do with them. Thank you for all that you do. Dear Cindy,

I saw you this weekend on the Quilt Show and was so inspired. I purchased your whole cloth quilt ebook and pulled an old linen out of the closet! I have a bunch that I purchased at a yard sale and want to use them to work up my skill to be able to tackle and antique double pillow covering. I made some good progress on a long rectangular linen today and am so thrilled to be giving them a new life!!

I would love to show you a photo of what I have done... not sure how to post that though! Thank you for sharing your breathtaking work with me. I am so inspired!!
