The workshops take place at the T Bar M Resort which is over the top. The facility was spacious and very well kept; hotel staff was very accommodating and the food was very, very yummy! I love to spread out in my classroom and the classroom space was huge. I had a full class of 19 students and we had oodles of room.
I taught my 5-day design workshop that I also hold in Rancho Cordova (near Sacramento). This class is geared toward the confident free motion quilter...I discovered early on that nearly 3/4 of my students were in the beginner category. Because I wasn't on a tight schedule, I was able to indulge in quality time with each student and I am still amazed with what they accomplished. This proved to be a very special group and I believe some lasting friendships were born.
The following pictures are only a small sampling "Show and Tell" of my students' work...I am VERY proud of what they accomplished and am still enjoying the whole experience of this past week. If you ever get the chance to take a workshop at Quilting Adventures I highly recommend it! My hat is off to Debby and Kim (the directors) for a job well done! Hugs, Cindy :)
