Featuring Vicky Crooms!!!

I have featured Vicky a couple of times in the past and am always thrilled when she contacts me with yet another beautiful project.   I absolutely love what she created from her bits of lace and knew she would inspire you.  Thank you Vicky!!!  Her story is below~

This project started with the four "banner-shaped" linen pieces which  were gifted to me by a guild friend, Bonnie Johnson.  They are pretty large, at about 10 inches long.  I was determined to use them all in one project.

The emblem/badge shaped pieces were an Etsy find and the middle piece just happened to fit.

The brown silk was quilted acording to the gospel of Cindy Needham, by quilting parallel lines in both directions and then performing the loop-to-loop method to finish it up.

Then...let the beading begin!  So many beads!!!  Not the gazillions that Cindy does but lots and lots according to my math.

This piece is named "The Pearly Gates".
