As I am patiently pecking away at recreating my blogs, sorting thru hundreds and hundreds of pictures trying to find which ones belonged to which particular blog, I am able to revisit old friends and special moments that haven't been remembered for quite awhile. Some of these blogs will never be recreated...the pictures have disappeared for whatever reason. Sooooo, I've decided to create "new stuff" out of the "old stuff".
This was originally a blog about my September 2011 McCloud retreat...I have replaced the pictures that were lost with special photos have been revisited. McCloud has become a special place to many of us...a place to get away...time moves a bit slower here...and a great place for many of us to renew old friendships and create new ones.

I think these pictures were wonderful. I love seeing the Nun Quilt updates and the "B" for your friend is so lovely. So keep 'em coming in the months ahead as you make slowly beautiful progress on the Convent Quilt.
I keep going back to this post and looking at the corner of your nun quilt - it's just so yummy what you've done to it. So beautiful - the nun's must be rejoicing!
