Quilting is Cheap Therapy....ommmmmm....

It has been a fairly stressful past few days with so much to do and so little time.  If you can believe it I'm actually forcing myself to sit down at my machine at the beginning and ending of each day just to regroup.  There is nothing on this earth as relaxing and meditative to me as quilting.

A good friend, Diane, gifted me with a beautiful table runner at my February workshop that belonged in her family.  I fell in love with it and just knew it had to be feathered all the way down.  I found a beautiful piece of vintage gold Italian silk to place it on and am finally really getting into quilting it.  I've been pecking away at it for a few months but this "forced quilting time" is really making it come to life.

I just got up to take a break and took a quick look and I loved it...had to share.

Hugs, Cindy

Thank you Cindy. Right now I need all the free therapy I can get and you're right, quilting seems to be doing the job for me. Your designs and work are beautiful.

So glad you are using the scarf for some well-deserved "ommmmmm" time. I can't wait to see it in person! Many hugs, girlfriend!
