Wholecloth 30's Daybed Cover Quilt for Sale~#2

I am happy to report that this particular quilt has found a wonderful new home and is no longer for sale...

This is the second quilt that I will be offering for sale.  I was lucky to have a beautiful 30's daybed cover in my stash and was finally able to put it in my machine about five years ago. This piece measures 63 x 85".   The hand applique was all done with tiny hand-done buttonhole stitches and is in pristine condition.   Hundreds of hours were put into the quilting and I just love this piece.

One cool thing I did with it...there was extra fabric  at the bottom that I cut off and it contained the "signature" of the design.  I trimmed this down and was able to use it for the binding.  The signature actually appears in the binding at the bottom of the quilt...very unique!

The back rod pocket was created with wide vintage lace.  Once this quilt is sold I will add a signature piece to the back dedicating it to the new owner.

Hugs, Cindy
