Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Kent and I have two favorite daughters....our favorite oldest, Jenny...and our favorite youngest, Emily.  They are both VERY talented with their own special skills and  are both quite busy during the holidays each year.

Jenny is a professional photographer as well as a full time mom to our two granddaughters. She spent long hours at the Christmas Preview in Chico last week doing family photo's and fortunately managed to snag one of their own family.

Emily is a professional baker and has her own bakery in Chico...Lovely Layers Cakery.  If you're a blog stalker then you've seen my posts before where I'm helping in the bakery during the holiday rush.  This Thanksgiving was no different!
Emily started baking at 1:45 am and I didn't arrive until 6 am.  I was the one who had the pleasure of packing all the preorders and getting them ready for pick up.  I only got pictures of the "before"...I was too busy "during" to get any more pictures but I think you get the idea!
There were orders lined up from top to bottom and empty boxes EVERYWHERE just waiting to be filled.
Pies were cooling ...

Little turkeys peeking out waiting to find a new home...
And these turkeys...well what can I say?  :)

This is a season to be thankful for all that you have...but who needs a "season" to do that?  We are thankful ALL YEAR LONG for our amazing family and all that we have been blessed with.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving, enjoy your family and friends, and as always... tell those who are important in your life how much you love them.

Big Hugs, Cindy :)

Great family photo of Jenny & family. And love all those yummy baked goods, especially those cute turkeys. I can honestly say Emily is an excellent baker and anyone that goes by her bakery should stop and shop as they'll be delighted with every bite!

Have a very Happy Thanksgiving with your family.
